Working with the teams at ThreeSixtyEight and Luminary Design Co. of Baton Rouge, LA, they reached out to help develop bespoke animated content for a special in-person display.

Located in the Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport, the display was built using 21 narrow-bezel LCD displays, arranged in a unique herringbone style matrix.

Making this jagged shape possible required the expertise of Luminary Design Co. to custom build software capable of mapping uploaded content correctly. As a result, it was crucial during the animation process that everything was built to pixel-perfect accuracy.

When it came time to display content, 1080p or 4K content wasn’t going to cut it. With capability of outputting up to 12K video across all panels, it was an excellent opportunity to create stunning hi-res content. Final exports for the project consisted of a set of 8K 60fps renders.
